Services
Four ways to work with us. Most owners start with the free Health Check, then an Embedded Finance retainer, or a quarterly check-in from $167 a month if they'd rather start smaller. Prices are ex GST and stated up front; nothing is billed that wasn't agreed first.
Start small, step up when you're ready
All prices + GST. Every package with a pack is on time or half price, when your books and inputs arrive on time. Not sure where to start? The free Health Check tells you.
Automated · free with every plan
Nobody wants to do bookkeeping, and most of it is the same transactions coded the same way every month. So we automate it. AI captures your bills and receipts, codes them and matches your accounts in your Xero, every week, and a person handles anything it can't. It costs us little, so it costs you nothing. You pay only for the work that takes judgement: the close, the numbers and the decisions.
Bookkeepers typically charge a small business $600 to $1,200 a month
$0
with any plan, from the $167 Check‑in. You pay for Xero; we don't charge for the bookkeeping.
Get your free Health CheckMarket range for small businesses with 50 to 200 transactions a month, from Xero's and Digit's 2026 bookkeeping cost guides. GST settings are agreed with your registered BAS or tax agent before anything goes live; BAS stays with them and payroll with your payroll provider. Payment runs, debtor chasing and supplier queries are Finance admin, quoted on your volume.
1 · Embedded Finance
Think of us as part of your team: in your Xero, on your calendar, and on the call every month. The finance people you need, without the hire. One retainer, a scope you choose, an hours envelope we plan for (reviewed at day 60 and each quarter), and a written list of what lands on your desk and when. A named lead answers for the engagement, a LedgerLift accountant prepares the month on our method under the lead's review, and Jared's CFO judgement comes in where the scope includes it.

Every month
Revenue, profit and cash at a glance; what changed and why; what to decide this month; profit by site, job or service line; and your cash for the next 13 weeks. In plain language, by working day 10, with a call to walk through it.
Behind it, the month is closed and checked: every material balance reconciled, the journals posted, and any open items listed with an owner and a date, as at the time stated. It is an internal management check, not an audit or review.

$0 with any plan (bookkeepers typically charge $600 to $1,200 a month)
From the $167 Check-in up. You pay for Xero. GST settings are agreed with your registered BAS or tax agent before anything goes live; they prepare and lodge your BAS, and payroll stays with your payroll provider.
From $500 + GST / month, quoted on your volume
The jobs around the books that need a person, if you'd rather not do them yourselves.
Start smaller
Start with a quarterly check-in on your Financial Fitness Score, or, if your bookkeeper keeps clean books, let us read them for you: a pack that says what changed and why, and a call to walk through it. Step up to the full close whenever you're ready, without re-onboarding. Either way, bookkeeping is included free.
$167 + GST / month, billed quarterly ($500 a quarter)
$500 + GST / month, billed quarterly
From $1,000 + GST / month
Both report on your books as your bookkeeper keeps them; they don't include the close or the reconciliations. If the free Health Check finds the books need work first, we'll say so and suggest Close and Report instead.
The Owner Review
The question nobody answers for you until year end, through a tax lens, after the fact. The Owner Review answers it every quarter, before the decision.
Set up once with a Policy Setup: $1,500 + GST, free when you commit to the Owner Review for 12 months (if it ends sooner, the unused part of the $1,500 is payable) (a full custom build for complex groups is $3,500). Then $500 + GST a month, billed quarterly; included in the CFO scope. New to the idea? Read the free guide. We calculate whether your own policy's tests are met and show the solvency position; the directors decide, and your tax agent handles franking and the tax treatment. We don't recommend investment products or institutions.
An anonymised, illustrative Dividend Policy Review shows the format: the executive summary, the earnings and working-capital positions, the three conditions tested across four quarters, the trend, and the recommendation. Eleven pages, fictional numbers.

Defined outcomes with a start and an end, quoted fixed off the Deep Diagnostic or a scoping call, billed on milestones.
Balance-sheet clean-up, deferred revenue rebuilt from the subscription data, leave provisions, platform-settlement clean-up, chart of accounts rationalised with history preserved.
Every state, every year, recalculated from the payroll data; contractor arrangements tested; reconciled to what was lodged; a monthly accrual left running. Lodgement and rulings stay with your agent.
Budget Starter, from $990: a 12-month P&L budget from last year's actuals and your key drivers, a 30-minute walkthrough, loaded into Xero.
Integrated Budget, from $3,000: P&L, balance sheet and cash, phased monthly, with a base case and a downside, and a 60-minute session.
Quarterly Reforecast, from $300 a month (billed quarterly): actuals rolled in and the rest of the year re-forecast.
A driver-based three-statement model from your chart of accounts and Xero history, with scenarios and tie-out checks. Or an audit and rebuild of the one you have. Quoted.
The opening case for your next site: fit-out, practitioner ramp, break-even month, the funding ask, and monthly tracking once it opens.
The pack, the forecast and the covenant model a bank or investor will ask for, prepared and tied. You choose the lender and the product.
Chart of accounts, close calendar, reporting design, finance policies (approvals, spending limits, month-end rules), Xero set up for management reporting, the first 30 days. GST settings and tax codes stay with your BAS or tax agent.
Products left with you after a project: reporting workbook, 13-week cash forecast, KPI and site P&L workbook, time-to-invoice workbook, dividend and working-capital policy workbook, close checklist. For genuinely open-ended work: operations time $1,200 + GST a day, CFO time $1,800 + GST a day, agreed up front.
3 · On-Demand Finance
Pay as you go, no retainer, fast turnaround, confidential. A number checked before it goes to the bank, a cash-flow question answered with a quick 13-week view, a reconciliation that won't balance, a second opinion in writing, or mentoring for an owner or an office manager learning to read the numbers.
Operations time $150 + GST / hour
A reconciliation, a journal, a Xero problem, a number checked, mentoring.
CFO time $250 + GST / hour
Decision support, pricing, strategy, lender and investor questions.
Billed monthly in arrears, time recorded, no minimum. We say which rate applies before the work starts.
Plain about the boundaries
Day to day, we work as part of your team. These are the things we hand to the right specialist. LedgerLift is management accounting, reporting, modelling and finance leadership for your own business. We are not a registered tax or BAS agent, hold no financial services licence, and are not lawyers.
Five business days, read-only, no obligation. Then a proposal with the scope that fits, and the other two beside it.
